We completed 6 total aircraft pre buy inspections this month. Teardown is working on our 4th regional teardown project currently moving on to our 5th.

We are currently completing teardowns for a priority customer. This 1,000-part program is progressing smoothly in Marana, characterized by strong client coordination and the consistent output of high-demand E-Jet material.

Growth is on the horizon at our Pinal Airpark headquarters in Marana. We are currently developing an additional acre of property to accommodate newly acquired aircraft assets. This rapid site development ensures we maintain the operational readiness and logistical efficiency required to handle our expanding fleet of teardown projects.

Our team executed a fast-moving Q4 project in Salina, Kansas, completing the teardown of an Embraer 175 (MSN 17000329). Delivered on time for Regional One, this project featured detailed component management and reporting, ensuring our partner received high-quality data and assets to close out their year strong.

Work is successfully underway on our newest regional project: a CRJ (MSN 15021) teardown for Regional One. Operating out of Tucson, our team has established structured workflows and clear communication channels to ensure steady progress on this 500-part program, reinforcing our reputation as a trusted partner for regional fleet solutions.

Demonstrating our operational scalability, Clear Sky launched a concurrent 1,000-part teardown of an Embraer 190 (MSN 19000576) for Werner Aero. By managing this wide-scope project at our Pinal Airpark facility in Marana alongside other active teardowns, we continue to prove our team’s ability to deliver consistent quality and volume, even during peak operational periods.

We are proud to continue our work with Regional One through the 500-part teardown of a CRJ 900 (MSN 15056) at Tucson International Airport. This project was executed with a focus on speed and seamless coordination, ensuring that critical regional jet components were harvested and tagged for immediate inventory integration.

We recently traveled to Ft. Lauderdale, FL for the AFRA/ASA Conference, reaffirming our commitment to sustainable practices and global recycling compliance. As end-of-life aircraft standards evolve, Clear Sky is dedicated to remaining a responsible and compliant leader in the teardown sector.

In April, we joined global MRO leaders in Atlanta, GA for MRO Americas. Our team engaged in meaningful discussions to strengthen existing industry ties and explore new operational opportunities, ensuring Clear Sky stays at the forefront of aircraft maintenance and teardown standards.

The Clear Sky team had a productive time attending PB Expo in Miami Beach, FL. It was an excellent opportunity to network with fellow aviation leaders and gather insights on the evolving aviation supply chain and aftermarket support landscape. We look forward to applying these connections to better serve our partners.

Closing out the year with precision, the Clear Sky team successfully managed the teardown of a De Havilland DHC-8 (MSN 520) for Corax. This project, executed at Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City, highlights our multi-site operational flexibility and our expertise in regional turboprop platforms. The detailed reclamation process ensured optimal inventory return for our client.

We are pleased to announce the commencement of a comprehensive 1,000-part teardown program for a Boeing 737-800 (MSN 28013).Executed on behalf of our partners at Broward Aviation Services, this project underscores our capability to handle major narrowbody assets with efficiency. Our team is hard at work on-site at Pinal Airpark in Marana, AZ, ensuring high-yield parts recovery to support the global 737NG supply chain.

We are happy to welcome the newest aircraft family members MSN 30619 B737-800 and MSN 17000123 Embraer 175 to our teardown inventory!  These aircraft are located at our Pinal Airpark Facility in Marana, AZ and pictures are available.

I am excited to say we have partnered up with 630 Aerospace Back shop to start our new teardown facility here in Marana.  Our goal in this is to create a one stop shop for your needs.  We provide a priority teardown service at a very competitive rate while being able to offer an in house back shop repair for your parts when needed.  We just passed our AFRA audit.  We are also consciously taking an environmental approach to building our facility and daily operations looking to lead the way and constantly improve.

Clear Sky now has PARKING SPACE for airplanes in Marana, AZ!  We also have moved our humble beginnings warehouse to Pinal Airpark in Marana and are currently in transition until we have a new warehouse constructed.  It has been a very busy few months for us during this transition.  We are excited to have everything in one location now.

2020 brought all of us some challenges in our industry.  We were VERY fortunate to be able to manage and complete an A319, A320, and B757 teardown for a couple of our amazing clients.  We also performed some amazing aircraft cuts and delivered the sections in good form to our customers.  We currently are working to complete 4 more B757 Teardowns and a B767 Teardown.

Our services have again been acquired to locate and negotiate the sale of a B737-800 aircraft for teardown.  We are happy to say we are in the middle of negotiations now! UPDATE: This B737-800 Now has a new home with General Airframe Support.

Our friends General Airframe Support have acquired 3- B757’s and 2- B767’s.  We were happy and able to handle locating, negotiating, and final sale.

We are happy to announce that our client Allied Aerospace Inc. has acquired 6 JT8 engines through Clear Sky’s resources and network.

We were able to find, handle the logistics, and deliver these two cockpits headed overseas for a great customer!
